Made In Bunch Bastardised

Published artwork in the Bunch logobook - Bastardised

overview

I contributed to Bastardised: 289 Selected Bunchisms, a curated visual anthology from Bunch’s “Made In Bunch” logo project. Rather than simply rehashing a logo, this book explores subversion, play, and design reinterpretation through 289 graphic experiments (“bunchisms”).

Concept & Execution

I used the Ishihara test for colour-blindness as my starting point, a visual system that relies on subtle dot patterns and colour contrast. It felt like the perfect metaphor for how design can both hide and reveal.

In order for it to be visible to everyone I had to slightly tweak the colours.

By referencing a colour-blind test, I also brought attention to how we all perceive colour differently. It gave my piece a conceptual and empathetic angle layered into Bunch’s playful, experimental spirit.
