CULTURE EDIT
OVERVIEW
Culture Edit began as a small experiment at The Mighty Shed, designed to track emerging cultural trends in behaviour, aesthetics, and values. Its purpose was to help the studio anticipate change, inform client work, and provide a structured, actionable approach to cultural foresight.
STRATEGY
The goal was to shift from spotting trends after they emerge to anticipating shifts before they happen. By codifying signals into a clear, repeatable format, the practice enables teams to identify opportunities early and act on them strategically. I co-created a digest that combined visual clarity, editorial precision, and narrative storytelling. This structured approach turned complex insights into accessible, actionable content that could inform client workshops and innovation projects.
OUTPUT
The digest feeds directly into client workshops, innovation sprints, and brand strategy projects, embedding cultural insight into both internal thinking and client-facing outputs. Culture Edit evolved into The Pleasure Report, a weekly newsletter with over 3,500 subscribers and open rates above 50%, extending our foresight practice to a global audience.
IMPACT
The initiative sharpened the studio’s internal foresight capabilities and positioned the team as a thought leader in wellbeing and pleasure, helping brands anticipate and navigate cultural change with confidence.
