FEDRIGONI 365 2021

OVERVIEW

I contributed a design to the Fedrigoni 365 2021 calendar, a collaborative edition by Fedrigoni UK, Ricoh, and TM Studio featuring nearly 1,000 creatives. Each designer was assigned a number (1–31) and a prompt-word; my assignment was number 12 with the word “clear.”

STRATEGY

I used flowing, wave-like forms to evoke the refraction and distortion seen in glass, transforming the number “12” into a form that is at once familiar and abstract. The design aimed to explore perception, materiality, and the intersection of technology and craft.

OUTPUT

The artwork was included in the variable-data digital printing process TM Studio has devised with Ricoh. 4,000 unique books were produced with artwork being randomly distributed between the books.

IMPACT

The contribution sits within a global showcase of diverse creative interpretations, celebrated for inclusivity and technical innovation. Fedrigoni 365 2021 highlighted experimentation with paper, perception, and algorithmic production, and placed my work alongside hundreds of international designers exploring purpose and form in a shared creative platform.
