OVERVIEW

Rekurv is a mid-range performance sub-brand created by Louis Moto for riders who thrive on speed, precision, and adrenaline. The challenge was to build a brand that feels as aerodynamic and intentional as the machines it represents, a distilled expression of motion and power.

STRATEGY

We translated the physics of speed into a visual identity system. Aerodynamics, mechanical tension, and directional cues shaped every element, from logo geometry to typographic hierarchy, ensuring the brand feels dynamic even at rest. The name “Rekurv” references both the arc of acceleration and the engineered recurve forms found in high-performance design, grounding the brand in momentum and intent.

OUTPUT

I led the creative direction from naming through to full identity development, crafting a visual world designed for modern riders. A focused palette of black and red nods to moto heritage while bold, technical typography brings intensity and precision. The wordmark, graphic system, apparel, packaging, retail communications, and social assets were all built to convey kinetic energy, taut, fast, and unmistakably alive across every scale and surface.

By embedding motion and tension into every touchpoint, Rekurv carved out a bold, youthful, and performance-driven position within Louis Moto’s portfolio. The brand captures the exhilaration of speed and transforms it into a confident visual language, a living tribute to riders who move fast and push limits.
