Rekurv is a premium sub-brand created by Louis Moto, designed for riders who are as obsessed with speed as they are with style. I led the creative direction from naming through to full identity design, shaping a brand world inspired by aerodynamics, precision, and the raw tension of velocity.
The wordmark drew influence from mechanical performance and recurve forms, built to feel taut and charged with energy. This graphic system extended fluidly across apparel, packaging, retail communications, and social media, delivering a cohesive identity that feels fast even when standing still.
From winding roads to bold retail moments
The Rekurv identity was designed to flex at every scale, from the micro-detail of a zip pull to bold in-store statements. A minimal yet powerful colour palette of black and red grounded the brand in moto heritage, while a typographic mix of Druk and IBM Plex balanced raw strength with technical precision.
By embedding the ‘joy of speed’ into every asset, Rekurv carved out a clear positioning within Louis Moto’s portfolio: a brand that strips away the unnecessary, champions performance, and speaks directly to a younger, speed-driven audience.
